On Tuesday, December 4, 2007, St. James Preparatory School will host its 16th Annual Awards for Excellence Dinner at the Newark Club. We invite you to celebrate with us and add your continued support to that of other benefactors who acknowledge the need for an academy of excellence designed to meet the diverse educational needs of all students.

 

This year, our annual fundraiser will honor Sang J. Kim, Ph.D., Chairman, Asian American Capital Corporation for his commitment to business; accomplished publisher, Adrian A. Council, of The Positive Community Magazine, for disseminating constructive and uplifting community information; Carolyn M. Whigham, of Whigham’s Funeral Home, for her unwavering dedication to community enrichment and service; and Reverend Robert C. Kent, of St. James AME Church, for his genuine commitment to serving God and others.

 

The black-tie optional affair begins at 6:30 p.m. at The Newark Club, located at One Newark Center in Newark, NJ.  Tickets are $225 per guest.  If you are not able to join us, please consider placing an ad in the journal or making a contribution to the school.  We have enclosed a list of opportunities for sponsorship of this event and hope you will join the growing list of St. James Preparatory School supporters.  Please respond by Friday, November 16, 2007.  Should you have any questions, please call Ms. Felicia  Kennedy, Dinner Co-chair at (973) 643-4749.
