STUDENT HIGHLIGHTS

  • EDWARD J. BLOUSTEIN DISTINGUISHED SCHOLAR

Abraham Y. Reed has been selected as an Edward J. Bloustein Distingished Scholar for the 2008-2009 academic year. This award recognizes the highest achieving graduating seniors in the state of New Jersey.  As a Distinguished Scholar, Abraham is eligible to receive a college scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 for up to four years during his enrollment at a New Jersey college or university.

Because he was selected as a Bloustein Scholar, Abraham has also earned the minimum status of a PROVOST SCHOLAR at THE RICHARD STOCKTON COLLEGE OF NEW JERSEY.  This guarantees him free tuition and fees for four years provided he maintains a 3.0 grade point average.

  • PEOPLE TO PEOPLE STUDENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

Bradford James Jr., a tenth grade student, has been accepted into the People to People Student Ambassador Program.  As a Student Ambassador, Bradford is one of forty students selected to travel on an international educational journey.  During this summer, Bradford will be traveling throughout the 'Heart of the Mediterranean'.  During this adventure, he will have an opportunity to enjoy hands on cultural encounters  with different people around the world.  He will potentially be earning academic credit.
