Parent-Teacher/Church Organization

SJP Parents are expected to participate, be present, and share in the purpose driven and positive development of their children.

Every SJP parent is a member of the SJP Parent-Teacher/Church Organization (PTCO):

The mission of the PTCO is to partner with the school faculty and administration enabling parents and church members to become involved in the life of the school.

Its goal is to serve SJP’s need by utilizing parent’s skills, talents, and resources for raising supplemental funds, organizing activities and coordinating programs that enhance curriculum and campus life.

Together SJP and parents, work to develop and maintain a climate of corporation, responsibility, commitment and dedication to the academic achievement of our children.

SJP parents are expected to:

·        Become a part of the school family understanding that like any family there will be days that are happy and days that are challenging, yet in the end are always rewarding

·        Include themselves in the vibrant academic and social life of this institution;

·        Build connections with teachers and staff; and

·        Encourage their children to excel in all areas of school life from academics to community service to student leadership to social development.

Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray.” Proverbs 22:6
